How do two people connect?
One of you opens a locket and gets a short code. Read it to the other out loud, they enter it, and then you both type one shared secret only the two of you know. If it matches, the locket seals - and that check proves no one is in the middle, not even us.
I forgot my password.
Your messages are encrypted with your password, which we cannot see or recover. On the unlock screen, "Forgot your password?" lets you start fresh with a new one. Your history on that device is erased, and the locket unpairs, so you and your one re-pair to continue - their history stays safe on their phone.
Will I know if my partner screenshots?
Yes. Every screenshot is announced in the chat, on both sides. Received media also stays inside the app and is never saved to your camera roll. No app can truly prevent a screenshot on iOS, so we tell you honestly when one happens rather than pretend it is impossible.
What happens when we unpair?
Unpairing burns the conversation on both phones, visibly. It is deliberate and mutual. Re-pairing with someone new starts from nothing.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Delete account. This erases your account, your pairing, and anything on our server. It cannot be undone.
